TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The parent company of Gojek, GoTo, has reported its first-ever net profit this year—a leverage amidst a turbulent global environment, according to GoTo Group CEO Hans Patuwo.
The company posted Rp171 billion in net profit during the first quarter of 2026, after a net loss of Rp367 billion recorded in the same period last year.
"Achieving net profit for the first time in our history is a big moment for GoTo," Hans said in an official statement quoted on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
The company recorded the annual transaction users (ATU) growing by 22 percent year-on-year (y-o-y) to 69 million. Meanwhile, net revenue climbed 26 percent y-o-y to Rp5.3 trillion, in line with the 65 percent y-o-y growth of the Group's core GTV to Rp138 trillion. GoTo's total GTV jumped 63 percent y-o-y to Rp236 trillion.
Adjusted EBITDA up by 131 percent y-o-y to Rp907 billion, with positive adjusted free cash flow of Rp1.3 trillion. Meanwhile, the e-commerce service fee from PT Tokopedia reached Rp288 billion.
GoTo Group's Chief Financial Officer, Simon Ho, added that the revenue growth outpaced the cost growth significantly, both in fintech and on-demand services. "Our cost to serve is falling as our tech and AI strategy takes hold," he said.
