TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Inter Milan secured the Serie A title after defeating Parma 2-0 in Matchday 35 of the Serie A season at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan on Sunday, May 3, 2026.
Inter Milan's victory over Parma came thanks to goals from Marcus Thuram and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, according to Serie A records.
This victory puts Inter Milan in first place in the Serie A standings with 82 points from 35 matches, beyond the reach of second-place Napoli with three matches remaining.
On the other hand, the defeat leaves Parma in 12th place in the Serie A standings with 42 points from 35 matches, 14 points clear of the relegation zone.
Parma created the first chance through Enrico Delprato, but his header sailed just over the crossbar.
Inter then threatened with a header from Denzel Dumfries, but the ball went wide of the Parma goal.
The Nerazzurri finally took the lead in the 45+1 minute through Marcus Thuram, who received a pass from Piotr Zielinski, making it 1-0.
Entering the second half, Inter again played an attacking game, but their efforts were still fruitless.
Dumfries created another chance for Inter, but his shot sailed well over the Parma crossbar.
Inter doubled their lead to 2-0 after Lautaro Martinez's pass was converted by Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the 80th minute.
In the remaining time, Inter continued to attack the Parma defense, but the score remained 2-0.
