Jérémy Taravel Wajibkan Anderlecht Raih Kemenangan Kontra Sint&Truiden

Manajer Anderlecht Jérémy Taravel membidik kemenangan krusial saat menjamu Sint-Truiden dalam laga kandang pamungkas Champions Play-offs Liga Pro Belgia di Stadion Lotto Park pada Kamis malam, 21 Mei 2026.

Tiga poin dari laga ini akan memastikan klub berjuluk Purple and White tersebut finis di peringkat keempat sekaligus mengamankan tiket menuju kompetisi Eropa musim depan.

Pertandingan ini juga menjadi momentum bangkit bagi armada Jérémy Taravel setelah menelan kekecewaan akibat kekalahan di final piala domestik seminggu yang lalu.

"The players are fully aware of the importance of this match for the club and its supporters." kata Jérémy Taravel, Pelatih Anderlecht.

Jérémy Taravel mengakui bahwa kekalahan di partai final tersebut memberikan dampak psikologis yang berat bagi tim serta para pendukung.

"It was obviously a huge disappointment for the team and the supporters. Personally, I felt the same way, but as a professional you have to switch focus quickly. We knew that important matches still remained after the cup final with next season in mind. We discussed it both collectively and individually, and we are ready to fully embrace this match." ujar Jérémy Taravel, Pelatih Anderlecht.

Oleh karena itu, juru taktik asal Prancis tersebut sangat mengharapkan kehadiran dan dukungan penuh dari para suporter di stadion untuk memberikan perbedaan.

"Without the support of our supporters, it is difficult, especially at home. Their support makes a huge difference." kata Jérémy Taravel, Pelatih Anderlecht.

Jérémy Taravel menyatakan bisa memahami rasa frustrasi yang dialami pendukung Anderlecht yang sudah mendambakan trofi selama beberapa tahun terakhir.

"I completely understand them because they have been waiting for a trophy for several years. Both the squad and I were deeply disappointed after losing the cup final. I hope the supporters will back us against STVV because it is an important match for the club." ujar Jérémy Taravel, Pelatih Anderlecht.

Mengenai kekuatan lawan, Jérémy Taravel memprediksi Sint-Truiden akan tampil lepas tanpa beban setelah mereka berhasil mengamankan tiket Eropa terlebih dahulu.

"They will obviously play with freedom after securing a European ticket. They will come to the Lotto Park full of confidence." kata Jérémy Taravel, Pelatih Anderlecht.

Anderlecht sempat mengalami kesulitan pada pertemuan sebelumnya di markas Sint-Truiden, sehingga performa lengkap dan minim kesalahan sangat dibutuhkan kali ini.

"They are a team with a lot of movement and quality. We will have to be ready and impose our game. We will simply need to play a complete match to win. In recent games we were often performing well, but we failed to score and made a few mistakes. In the Champions’ Play-offs, you pay dearly for that." ujar Jérémy Taravel, Pelatih Anderlecht.

Pertandingan kandang ini juga diprediksi akan menjadi laga perpisahan bagi sejumlah pemain Anderlecht sebelum bursa transfer musim panas.

"They want to end their time here on a positive note after the lost cup final and finish the season in style by securing a European ticket for next season. I can feel the hunger to give everything for this club until the very last minute." kata Jérémy Taravel, Pelatih Anderlecht.

Anderlecht dipastikan tampil pincang setelah Moussa Diarra absen akibat cedera otot gluteal, menyusul Mario Stroeykens yang masih cedera, serta Mihajlo Cvetković yang harus menjalani sanksi larangan bertanding kedua.
