LE SSERAFIM Holds Exclusive Event 'PURE FLOWERS LIVE' Before Album Release

CANTIKA.COM, Jakarta - Prior to the release of their second studio album titled PUREFLOW pt.1, LE SSERAFIM held a special celebration event titled PURE FLOWERS LIVE with Spotify at the Seosomun Shrine History Museum, Seoul, on Thursday (21/5). Held a day before the official album release, the event became an exclusive moment for the selected FEARNOTs, the affectionate term for LE SSERAFIM fans, to listen to their idol's latest songs live for the first time.

In an official statement received by Cantika, the celebration was attended by approximately 300 selected FEARNOTs, who came not only from Seoul but also from various countries to witness the special performance by the Source Music group. The atmosphere of the evening felt intimate and emotional as LE SSERAFIM not only performed on stage but also interacted casually with the fans.

During their performance, LE SSERAFIM presented several new songs from the album PUREFLOW pt.1 such as "BOOMPALA", "Creatures", and "Sonder". They also performed the main song "CELEBRATION", as well as some favorite songs of FEARNOTs like "SPAGHETTI" and "CRAZY" which instantly livened up the atmosphere. Apart from delivering an amazing performance, the members of LE SSERAFIM also shared stories about the process behind their latest album.

On that occasion, Huh Yunjin revealed that the song "Sonder" holds a special meaning as she was involved in writing the lyrics. "We also prepared a special B-side track titled 'Sonder' specifically for today's performance at PURE FLOWERS LIVE. I'm so happy to share it for the first time. I also participated in writing the lyrics, so I can't wait for the FEARNOTs to hear it as soon as possible," said Huh Yunjin.

A New Era

LE SSERAFIM also discussed the new era of their group through the concept of "FEARLESS 2.0". If during their debut period their message was about being fearless as their main strength, now they feel growth by understanding fear itself. "FEARLESS 1.0 when we debuted carried the message 'We are fearless, and that is our strength'. Whereas FEARLESS 2.0 now is more about how we become stronger precisely by understanding fear. In my opinion, this truly shows the development of LE SSERAFIM up to this point," said Huh Yunjin.

For global fans who couldn't attend the event in person, don't worry, because Spotify will also release the complete video of PURE FLOWERS LIVE exclusively on its official platform. In addition, Spotify has also prepared a special episode of K-Pop ON! Video Podcast featuring LE SSERAFIM's conversation with the fans that night. The album PUREFLOW pt.1 itself was officially released on May 22 and became one of the most anticipated K-pop comebacks this year.
