TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto received Indonesian National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo at his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor Regency, West Java, on Friday, April 24, 2026.
Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said the meeting, which lasted about one hour, discussed national security issues and developments across various sectors.
He said Listyo also reported on the progress of several strategic police programs, including efforts to strengthen digital transformation in public services and improve personnel professionalism from recruitment through to field operations.
The discussions also covered measures to maintain public order and security sustainably, involving broader community participation.
“[They also discussed] efforts to maintain public order and security sustainably by involving all elements of society,” Teddy said in an official statement from the Presidential Secretariat on Friday, April 24, 2026.
Prabowo and Listyo also reviewed ways to strengthen coordination between the National Police and relevant institutions in supporting national priorities, including agriculture, food security, nutrition programs, disaster response, and public service improvements.
