When and Where Is the PSG vs. Arsenal Champions League Final?

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - French giants Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are slated to face Arsenal in the final of the 2025-2026 Champions League. The two sides will contend for the prestigious trophy at the Puskas Arena in Budapest, Hungary, on Saturday, May 30.

PSG secured their spot in the final after a -1-1 draw against Bayern Munich in the second leg of the semi-finals at the Allianz Arena. The result was sufficient to propel Les Parisiens forward with a 6-5 aggregate score, following a dramatic 5-4 victory in the opening leg.

A day earlier, Arsenal also confirmed their place in the final after eliminating Atletico Madrid with a 2-1 aggregate win. The achievement marks a historic milestone for the London-based club.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta expressed pride in his squad’s performance. "It's an incredible night. We made history again together. I cannot be happier and prouder of everyone involved in this football club," Arteta stated, as quoted from the official Arsenal website.

He also praised the exceptional atmosphere fostered by the fans. "The manner that we got to see outside the stadium was special and unique. The atmosphere that our supporters created, the energy, the way they lived every ball with us, it made it special and unique. I never felt that in the stadium," Arteta remarked.

Arteta emphasized that Arsenal’s European journey has been arduous since he took the helm. "It's very tough and difficult but again we've all been so aligned on the desire and ambition that we have for the club. Then you have to be sometimes lucky, things have to go your way. We put obviously so much work, passion and belief into what we do and today we got rewarded to have an incredible day in Budapest in a few weeks," he said.

He further noted that this marks the club's second Champions League final appearance in its history, following a 20-year hiatus.

On the PSG side, coach Luis Enrique lauded his team’s resilience after knocking out Bayern. "The character we showed against a team like Bayern is so positive. We're so happy to reach a second Champions League final in a row. It was very intense. Very difficult. They play football at the highest level," he said, according to UEFA.com.

Meanwhile, PSG striker Khvicha Kvaratskhelia believes the upcoming final will be a formidable challenge, regardless of the opposition. "We respect all teams. The most important thing for us is to play our own football. Regardless of which club we face, we prepare seriously for the game and fight until the end. Of course, it won't be easy because it's a Champions League final. However, we must go out there and enjoy the game," he said.

PSG enters the final as the defending champions, ambitious to retain their crown, while Arsenal pursues their first-ever Champions League trophy. The showdown at Puskas Arena will mark the fourth encounter between the two clubs over the last two seasons.
