Mumbai City Hadapi Bengaluru FC di Pekan ke&10 ISL 2025&26

Mumbai City FC akan menantang tuan rumah Bengaluru FC di Stadion Sree Kanteerava pada Sabtu, 25 April 2026 pukul 17.00 IST guna merebut kembali posisi puncak klasemen Indian Super League (ISL) 2025-26.

Pertandingan ini menjadi krusial bagi The Islanders yang baru saja menelan kekalahan perdana musim ini dengan skor 0-2 dari FC Goa, sementara Bengaluru FC membawa modal hasil imbang 3-3 melawan East Bengal FC.

Jika berhasil mengamankan kemenangan, Mumbai City FC akan mengoleksi 21 poin dan menggeser Mohun Bagan Super Giant dari peringkat pertama, sedangkan Bengaluru FC berpeluang menyamai poin Mumbai di posisi kedua.

“We are still in the race. If we get a good result, we’ll be right there. We can’t change past games, but we can control the performance. We’re facing a very strong team, built to win the league, with quality players and depth. But we are Bengaluru FC, and we’re playing at home. For me, this is a final. It’s my third week here, but tomorrow is a final. We’ve prepared with high motivation and intensity, focusing on improving the details that cost us points in recent games,” ujar Pep Muñoz, Pelatih Kepala Bengaluru FC.

Bek Bengaluru FC, Rahul Bheke, menambahkan pandangannya mengenai peluang tim-tim di papan atas klasemen saat ini.

“Obviously, there are four or five teams, and they all have a chance. The table could be completely different tomorrow, and the top six teams do have a shot at the title,” kata Rahul Bheke, Bek Bengaluru FC.

Pemain yang akan menghadapi mantan klubnya tersebut juga menegaskan ambisi pribadinya untuk memberikan kontribusi gol di laga nanti.

“It’s my former team, but I approach it like any other match. I’ve faced them before, so there’s no added pressure. Of course, I’d like to get on the scoresheet, I haven’t scored this season, so hopefully tomorrow is the day,” cetus Rahul Bheke, Bek Bengaluru FC.

Di sisi lain, pelatih Bengaluru FC mengakui pentingnya laga akhir pekan ini bagi posisi kedua tim di tabel klasemen.

“We’re playing against a team that is above us on the table, and tomorrow is going to be very crucial for both teams. I know that we have young players who are training very well, and I want to see them show that on the pitch too,” ungkap Pep Muñoz, Pelatih Kepala Bengaluru FC.

Pelatih Mumbai City FC, Petr Krátký, menyoroti tantangan cuaca dan atmosfer di markas lawan yang dikenal sulit ditaklukkan.

“Bengaluru are a very good team and are in strong form. It’s not easy to play there. The 5 pm kick-off means heat could be a factor, especially in the first half. We are preparing accordingly and making sure the team is ready to perform better than before,” papar Petr Krátký, Pelatih Kepala Mumbai City FC.

Penyerang muda Vikram Partap Singh menekankan motivasi tinggi skuadnya untuk memberikan hasil maksimal bagi para penggemar.

“This game is like a final for us. We’re in a strong position and want to win the next few matches. We’ll give everything, and fan support will boost us even more,” sebut Vikram Partap Singh, Penyerang Mumbai City FC.

Pada pertandingan lain yang digelar Sabtu malam pukul 19.30 IST, Jamshedpur FC akan menjamu Chennaiyin FC di Kompleks Olahraga JRD Tata.

Jamshedpur FC yang saat ini mengoleksi 15 poin berupaya bangkit setelah kalah dari Kerala Blasters, sementara Chennaiyin FC masih tertahan di peringkat ke-10 dengan sembilan poin.

“It helps in understanding their players and strengths. They have very good players like Farukh Chaudhury, Irfan Yadwad and Daniel Chima Chukwu. But during the match, my only focus is to win for Jamshedpur. It will be good to see familiar faces, but both teams will be fully competitive,” tutur Owen Coyle, Pelatih Jamshedpur FC.

Kiper Jamshedpur, Albino Gomes, menyatakan bahwa tim tetap fokus meski berada di bawah tekanan untuk meraih hasil positif.

“The pressure is there, but it is good pressure. Everyone is working hard in training, and we need to bring that effort into the match to get a positive result,” jelas Albino Gomes, Kiper Jamshedpur FC.

Secara statistik pertemuan, Chennaiyin FC unggul atas Jamshedpur dengan delapan kemenangan dari 16 laga, sedangkan Mumbai City memegang rekor sembilan kemenangan dalam 18 pertemuan kontra Bengaluru.
