Maccabi Tel Aviv Bidik Kemenangan Kontra Be'ersheva Usai Tekuk Haifa

Gelandang Maccabi Tel Aviv, Noy, menegaskan ambisi timnya untuk mengamankan poin penuh saat bertandang ke markas Be'ersheva pada Selasa demi menjaga posisi di papan atas klasemen Liga Utama Israel. Laga krusial ini menyusul tren positif tim setelah berhasil menaklukkan Maccabi Haifa dua kali dalam sepuluh hari terakhir.

Noy menyatakan kebanggaannya dapat membantu tim meraih hasil maksimal di Stadion Sammy Ofer. Pemain berusia 24 tahun tersebut menilai pencapaian ini memberikan suntikan moral signifikan bagi skuad sebelum melakoni rangkaian pertandingan playoff berikutnya.

"They had broken, and I had to find a new pair to play. And we were searching, we were asking. I called them and said, ‘Guys, I need shoes.’ Luckily, Nike sent me a pair just before the game." kata Sofoklis Schortsanitis, Mantan Pemain.

Schortsanitis juga menyinggung aspek psikologis dalam olahraga mengenai peluang menghadapi lawan yang sama berulang kali. Ia memercayai takhayul bahwa tim jarang kalah tiga kali beruntun dari lawan yang identik.

"They used to say then, and I believe they still say it, that if you lose two games against the same team, home and away, you don’t lose a third time. I said OK, we lost twice to Real, and I thought we won’t lose this one," sebut Sofoklis Schortsanitis, Mantan Pemain.
